We will be based at the Beamsley Project, which is an independent charity providing wheelchair-friendly, self-catering holiday accommodation for groups near Bolton Abbey in North Yorkshire, between the market towns of Skipton and Harrogate. There are lots of gentle walks on hand, there are some good mountain walks within a short drive, or you can just sit in the gardens and be at one with nature. Beamsley offers fully accessible accommodation, so it is ideal for anyone with accessibility needs, as can be seen on the Project’s website www.beamsleyproject.org/accommodation/equipment.
The theme of the week will be “Wellness – looking after ourselves and looking after each other”. Workshops are planned to include meditation, yoga, lifestyle medicine and bodywork. In addition, please bring along your own talents, energy, visions, workshop ideas and materials for anything you’d like to see happen. As is usual at these events, we shall have a soirée at which you can entertain your fellow participants, and be entertained by them in turn! And an auction in support of the Edward Carpenter Community Bursary Fund.

Your organising team is Dave Tilley, Steve Lowe, Gerry McCabe, Chris Rishworth, Imran Riaz.
