Our programme of events for 2019 is still in preparation and won't be confirmed until our Autumn Gathering in October. The venues and dates will be shown here as soon as they're confirmed, and full details and booking information will be available in the new year. In the meantime, here is an indication of some of the events in the pipeline.
Kench Hill is proving a very popular venue for members in the South of England, and we are planning to return there in the late Spring for another weekend in the Kent countryside.
We are pleased to announce that Laurieston Hall will be hosting events again in 2019 after a couple of years break, and we have been offered one week, probably in June, date to be confirmed. We will therefore be seeking bids from members to organise an event which will be considered at the Autumn Gathering.
Following the success of this year's return to High Close in the Lake District, we have secured another booking for a 50-man event in August 2019. Details to follow.
Weekends at Coldwell near Burnley have proved very popular also, and we will be returning to this dramatic moorland location in late September.
The Autumn Gathering welcomes bids from individuals or teams to run events at these venues, but is also keen to receive bids for other events at new locations. If you have something in mind and would like to consider organising an event, please contact the Maintenance Group at maintenance [at] edwardcarpentercommunity.org.uk.
